Compare WinRAR vs 7-Zip [Which is your Favorite Tool]

WinRar V/s 7Zip both are best & popular file archiver software and these both tools are the first app which installed after the o/s. As you see almost every time all files in download are comes in zip or rar. We've covered two best file archiver which used worldwide at GeekWorldNews, so lets choose which is your favorite 7zip or Winrar.

If you ask my recommend software which is WinRar but the most used as per my review is 7zip. I have tested both the tools like their performance, compressed size, Time taken & how much time to decompress the files.

First let discuss about the author, release date of both the software's:-

1. WinRar first release date is 1993 & it offer free trial to test, once you satisfied buy it.

2. 7zip first release date is 2 January 1999 it's but the most important think is that its free no need to pay any think.

Winrar is much faster compare to 7zip below you can see the results of 7zip & Winrar. WinRar V5.0 gives good speed and compression ratio but 7zip is also good but not fast as much. The new feature added in latest version to decompress Rar files if you checked older versions of Winrar they are not able to decompress the Rar files, but can you inform to the user who downloads you Rar files recommend them to use WinRar v5.00 & Latest one.
